Overview

In Outlook Attachment Sniffer's main window you can deal with all tasks, either with the selected emails or with a complete Outlook folder. Definitions can be saved as job-templates for further use.

Export attachments

With this task, you can extract and save all the email-attachments to a hard drive disk. There are extensive definitions possible. You simply can save the attachments, or remove them from the emails, or replace the attachments with links to the saved files.

Supported formats are MSG, HTM, EML, MHT, RTF and TXT. You can automatically create subdirectories depending on the email's data, and optional save the attachments separately. The export can be logged, if you wish - for instance - to import the data in a database.

Auto-process emails and attachments

On local inboxes you also can define jobs which should be executed automatically when new emails arrive.

You can automatically let save all the attachments and/or export the emails.

Auto-filenaming

For auto-creation of subfolders and naming the files there are lots of placeholders available.

To create the subfoldernames and the filename you can use the Outlook folder structure, the addresses or names of the sender and recipient, the subject, the email's date and so on.
